Colin Farrell fought hard to get his version of The Penguin to smoke tobacco in The Batman (2022), but failed
Story
Following the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, attempts to take over Gotham’s criminal underworld. Aside from the Bat-Signal in the final shot of the season finale, we never got our Robert Pattinson cameo in “The Penguin.” In this short video, IMDb attempts to answer: Where the hell was Batman?. For his own series, however, the character is depicted as an occasional tobacco user, with a preference for cigars.

Colin Farrell is absolutely fantastic as Oz Cobb aka The Penguin
I have been anticipating The Penguin since it was first announced that it was going to be a series and I can tell you that it is exactly what I expected. He excelled in The Batman and is even better in a lead role. On top of that, Cristin Milioti is just as good as Sofia Falcone.
I hope more stories like this come out of this world
The two fight to see who is the #1 gangster in Gotham and to “bring order to all the chaos”. Some people were worried that a supporting character like The Penguin couldn’t carry a show and wouldn’t work without Batman or Bruce Wayne, but fear not because this is more than just a bad guy in a superhero show, it’s a great crime drama in its own right. It’s a gritty and violent crime drama that is so much fun to watch unfold.
